Ray Roberts to Open Sailing Schools in Thailand - Exclusive Video Interview

[FHD video and podcast below] Ray Roberts, a successful Australian entrepreneur with a passion for sailing, missed a couple of recent Top of the Gulf Regattas in Pattaya, Thailand, but returned this year stronger than ever with his very fast TP52 yacht - Team Hollywood.

In this exclusive interview, filmed on 4 May 2019 at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club in Jomtien, Ray tells us what makes the Top of the Gulf Regatta so special, why he decided to compete in this year's event, and which race he is scheduled to take place in next.

We ask what challenges he faces in finding the right crew and motivating them, as well as how he would like to see regattas in the region improve.

We also discuss his TP52 and what makes it so special, as well as what plans he has for his two other TP52s, and how he sees yacht development changing in the years to come.

Ray tells us why he loves Thailand so much, and what very exciting plans he has to develop sailing here by establishing at least one sailing school that will help to teach youngsters to enjoy an active lifestyle, and to help them transition from the small dinghies to larger boats.
