Air Italy as launched flights between Milan Malpensa
and Toronto, Canada.
Air Italy’s first route to Canada
will be operated seasonally, six times per week and on a daily
basis except for Thursdays, until 25 October 2019.
Served with Air
Italy’s Airbus A330-200, offering 24 fully flatbed seats in
Business Class and 228 seats in Economy Class, the new route is
the third new service planned for 2019 after the launch of new
flights from Milan Malpensa to Los Angeles and San Francisco on
3 and 10 April respectively.
“Toronto and Milan are twin cities and these
cosmopolitan and multicultural cities are both important centers
for trade and investment, as well as being major cultural centres.
Clearly therefore, we expect a high volume of business and leisure
trade in the fashion, food and culture sectors thanks to our new
Milan-Toronto service in both directions,” said Rossen Dimitrov,
Air Italy’s Chief Operating Officer. “Moreover, Air Italy
connects seamlessly with seven key Italian cities (Rome, Naples,
Palermo, Catania, Lamezia Terme, Olbia and Cagliari) from its
Milan Malpensa hub, which are all top destinations for summer
tourism.”
Business Class
customers on board the new Milan-Toronto service will be able
to enjoy Air Italy’s completely new on-board business product that
was revealed last month on the first Milan-Los Angeles
flight.
Featuring new tableware and in-flight dining
menus, Business Class
passengers can now also enjoy a dining-on-demand service.
“Complementing our new product, we have our new
dine-on-demand service, meaning our Business Class customers can
select from our extensive à la carte menu at any time, and in any
order, to create their own unique dining experience – all of which
delivers yet again on our brand promise as we help our customers
to – Imagine The World Differently,” said Mr Dimitrov.
