London Stansted Airport has been confirmed as
the host of the CAPA World Aviation Outlook Summit 2020.
To be held 2-3 December 2020, the summit is
expected to attract over 200 aviation executives who will analyse the industry’s
performance over the year, discuss the current state of play, and
forecast the outlook of the aviation market.
Covering all regions
- Europe, Asia, Middle East, Americas and beyond - expert speakers
will guide the debate as they address the commercial and
operational pillars that will essentially drive strategic
decision-making in 2021.
CAPA Chairman Emeritus, Peter Harbison said,
“Over the years, the CAPA World Aviation Outlook Summit has become
a cornerstone event in the global aviation industry. It provides a
high-level platform for thorough analysis of the pinnacle
successes and confronting lows that we as an aviation community
have faced over the year. By identifying the lessons learnt and
pin-pointing some of the most significant influences shaping
aviation, we as a collective, can ensure the industry continues to
evolve. We look forward to taking this pivotal event to London
Stansted in 2020.”
Similar to previous years, event proceedings
will commence with an in-depth global aviation overview, followed
by presentations on the global macroeconomic, geopolitical
environment and interactive panel debates on specific industry or
regional issues.
The annual two-day summit will take place at the
500-room Radisson Blu Hotel, London Stansted Airport – an easy
walk to the airport’s main terminal and public transport, with
flight connections available to London, Birmingham, Cambridge and
various international cities.
London Stansted Chief Commercial Officer, Aboudy
Nasser, said, “We at London Stansted are extremely proud and
excited to be selected to host CAPA’s World Aviation Outlook
Summit in 2020. The airport sits at the heart of the UK’s
innovation corridor that stretches from the City of London to the
world-renowned city of Cambridge and is one of the fastest growing
and economically successful regions in the country so this event
is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase what we offer to a
global industry audience. We have ambitious growth and investment
plans for London Stansted and look forward to sharing our vision
as we welcome guests from across the world to the airport for next
year’s summit.”
