The Dusit Thani Hua Hin has completed the first
stage of an extensive renovation.
The hotel has renovated 204
guest rooms and suites, revamped the ballroom and
refurbished the all-day dining restaurant – just in time for the
resort’s 29th anniversary.
Renovations
began in May this year, with phase two, which includes
92 guest rooms, slated for completion next year.
The resort’s newly renovated rooms have been
completely redecorated in warm, bright, and earthy tones. They
have also been refurbished to include a tasteful blend of natural
white-woodgrain oak furniture complemented by locally sourced
rattan chairs, ornaments and artwork inspired
by the local palaces, and built-in furniture given a white-stained
oak or grey Chinese lacquer finish.
“We are delighted to complete
the first stage of our renovation process to deliver new spaces
and new experiences for our guests and customers,” said Mr Pipat
Patthananusorn, General Manager, Dusit Thani Hua Hin. “Over the
past 29 years, Dusit Thani Hua Hin has proven a popular
destination for visiting holidaymakers of all nationalities, as
well as being the business or pleasure destination of choice for
royalty and government delegations. Our renovations, which
maintain the resort’s classic identity while giving it a fresh new
look, will ensure we are well-positioned to continue evolving our
offerings to reach new markets. It also marks the start of our
journey towards developing the resort into an enticing wellness centre where guests will enjoy a holistic approach to well-being.
This includes the opportunity to experience healthy cuisine made
using the finest organic ingredients sourced from local farmers in
line with our ‘Live Well, Eat Well’ concept.”
The Dusit Thani Hua Hin, which opened on 14
December 1990, occupies around 114 rai (45 acres)
of beachfront land in Prachuap Khiri Khan
province, near the seaside towns of Cha-Am and Hua Hin.
