Four Seasons Hotel Amman has appointed Maxime
Salembie as General Manager of La Capitale and
SIRR.
Born in France, Maxime's father owned a
brasserie close to Paris where Maxime would help out on the
weekends and on school holidays.
Maxime's career with Four
Seasons began in 2012 at Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris
where he worked at the famous Le Cinq, a 3 Michelin star
restaurant. After nearly four years of experience in Paris, Maxime
moved to New York City to explore a different world at Daniel, a 2
Michelin star restaurant.
He rejoined Four Seasons in 2016 at
Ten Trinity in London as their Private Club Manager and now
joins the team in Amman.
Maxime said, "The best career advice anyone can
give or receive, is to do what you love. If you feel passionate
about the work you do every day, you work harder, grow faster and
share that passion with the people around you. This how the service becomes a passion and not just a job."
With a wide
range of experience in hotels and restaurants, one of the
questions Maxime is always asked about is his favourite cuisine. His answer
is simple, "My favourite cuisine is any good cuisine. It doesn’t matter where it comes from. But I
can never resist a
delicious veal sweetbread."
Maxime is a fan of Paris
Saint Germain (PSG) and also loves spending his time off
discovering new places.
