Vietjet has unveiled plans to launch direct
flights
connecting Danang, a coastal city in Central Vietnam, with
Taipei, Taiwan.
Scheduled to commence operations on 19 December
2019, Vietjet will use Airbus A320 and A321
aircraft on the route.
Daily flights are timed to depart from Danang at 10:50 and arrive in Taipei at
14:30.
The return
flight is scheduled to leave Taipei at 15:30 and arrive
in Danang at 17:30.
Vietjet currently operates eight routes
and over twenty flights per day between Vietnam and Taiwan.
Mr. Jay Lingeswara, Director of International
Sales and Distribution at Vietjet said, “The new Danang to Taipei
route is part of plans to expand Vietjet’s flight network,
bringing more flying opportunities for residents and travellers.
Currently, more than 3,000 passengers can fly daily from Hanoi, Danang
or Ho Chi Minh (Saigon) to major cities in Taiwan including Taipei, Taichung,
Kaohsiung and Tainan. In the future, Vietjet will continue to open
new routes, helping to connect local provinces in Vietnam to other
countries in the region.”
