Air
Astana, the national carrier of Kazakhstan, has unveiled plans to
launch flights from Almaty to Paris, France.
The flights between Almaty and the much loved
French capital city are scheduled to commence
in June 2020.
Air Astana will operate the route with thrice
weekly flights using
the carriers new Airbus A321LR, which entered revenue service on
the Air Astana network last month.
Air Astana launched
Paris-Astana (now Nur-Sultan) flights in Spring 2015, using a B757.
The
flight from Almaty will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and
Sundays, and is scheduled to depart at 14:15 and arrive at Paris
Charles de Gaulle at 18.00.
The service between Paris and Almaty is timed to
leave Paris at
19:20, arriving in Almaty at 06:35.
The
flight from Almaty will depart at 14:15 and arrive in
Paris at 18.00.
Flight times are 7 hours and 15 minutes, and 7
hours and 45 minutes respectively.
Upon arrival in
Almaty, passengers from Paris will be able to enjoy convenient domestic
flight connections to Kazakhstans capital Nur-Sultan and Shymkent,
as well international flight connections to Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan
and Dushanbe in Tajikistan.
