The Bensley Collection
- Shinta Mani Wild, a luxury jungle camp in Cambodia's South
Cardamom National Park, has opened a
Khmer Tonics Spa that uses chemical-free products made from a
mix of medicinal plants, herbs and spices all of which can be
found
in the rainforest that surrounds the resort.
The spa, with two dedicated treatment villas
hidden away in the jungle, offers guests a variety of massages,
scrubs, acupuncture, facials and treatments that promise to
rejuvenate, relax and pamper. And, as unlimited spa treatments are
included in the room rate at no extra charge, there's no need to
worry about how much it all might be costing.
In addition to the spa, guests can also unwind and enjoy the
health benefits of the Cambodian take
on tenkara, a meditative form of Japanese catch-and-release fly
fishing, or yoga and guided meditation in the depths of the
jungle.
The resort also has a 35-metre pool, complete with
bucket shower which is set up next to
the river.
A programme of visiting wellness guru’s offering
guests access to specialist knowledge and experiences in this
unique location is expected to be launched in the coming months.
