IHG has opened the second voco hotel in Oxford,
the fourth in the UK.
The 181-room voco Oxford Spires, which has been
rebranded from The Principal Oxford Spires Hotel, is located alongside the River Thames and on
University College Oxford grounds. The hotel is a 10-minute walk away from the
historic city centre of Oxford.
Built 20 years ago, the property was designed by
local builder John Ede and businessman Brian Murtyr and blends Cotswold stone with contemporary interiors
throughout.
The hotel features a lounge, restaurant, 11
meeting rooms and comprehensive health club featuring a spa, steam
room, jacuzzi, pool, gym and treatment rooms.
