Jean-Marc Nasr, 57, has been appointed as
Executive Vice President Space Systems within the Airbus Defence
and Space division.
Nasr will assume his new duties on 1 June 2019
and succeeds Nicolas Chamussy, 51, whose next assignment has not
yet been publicly announced.
In his new role, Nasr will be Member of
the Airbus Defence and Space’ Executive Committee and report to
Dirk Hoke, CEO of Airbus Defence and Space.

experienced executives in the division and with his extensive
industrial expertise, accumulated over many years in our company,
I trust he will take our programme line to the next level,” said
Dirk Hoke. “I thank Nicolas Chamussy for his leadership at the helm of Space Systems. With his
tireless efforts, he has laid the foundation since 2016 for our
continued leadership vis-a-vis our international peers and has
driven agility in our industrial processes at Space Systems. I am
grateful that we can retain his expertise in the company.”
Presently, Jean-Marc Nasr serves as Head of Region Asia Pacific
for Airbus and Airbus Defence and Space.
Johan Pelissier, 41,
currently Head of South East Asia within Airbus Defence and Space,
will succeed Jean-Marc Nasr in his current function and will be
acting Head of Region Asia Pacific for Airbus Defence and Space as
of 1 June 2019.
