Marriott has expanded its Tribute
Portfolio with the opening of the Natra on Bintan Island in
Indonesia, just a short boat ride from Singapore.
The Natra Bintan
is made up of 100 safari-themed tents that measure about 40 square
meters. Each tent features a garden and outdoor patio, four-poster
bed, LCD TV, Wi-Fi and air-conditioning.
Located within Chill Cove at Treasure Bay, the Natra Bintan sits directly on the Crystal Lagoon,
Southeast Asia’s first and largest man-made seawater lagoon, where
guests can enjoy water activities,
including family-friendly bumper boat-rides, fun slides and
wakeboarding action.
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming
guests of all ages to experience Natra Bintan. Not only is the
safari tent experience one of a kind, but guests will also find
endless entertainment with all the fun activities we have
available onsite,” said Laurens Kritzinger, General Manager of
Natra Bintan.
Natra Bintan can easily be reached with a ferry ride arriving at Bandar Bentan Telani Port in Lagoi from Tanah Merah Port (Singapore), or
at Sri Bintan Pura in Tanjung Pinang from Berjaya Waterfront
(Johor Baru, Malaysia) and Telaga Punggur (Batam, Indonesia).
Daily flights from Jakarta are available to take guests to Raja
Haji Fisabilillah Airport in Tanjung Pinang. Guests can arrive in
ease through The Canopi’s complimentary transfer services to and
from the Bandar Bentan Telani Port.
