Okada Manila Appoints Cielo Ortega-Reboredo as Vice President

Okada Manila has appointed Cielo Ortega-Reboredo as Vice President - Sales & Marketing, Hospitality and Entertainment.

This newly created division within the company handles a diversified portfolio from its current event venue roster such as the ballrooms and meeting rooms, to the newest hotel venue offerings like the newly-opened The Garden, Crystal Corridor’s expanse of open spaces, Cove Manila, and yacht, as well as the hotel’s private jet service.

Reboredo is a seasoned hotelier with over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. She started her career in the Front Office at the Manila Midtown Hotel followed by the Makati Shangri-la. In 2000, Reboredo moved to the Sofitel Philippine Plaza where she found her true calling in Events Sales and Marketing.

In 2011, Reboredo joined the pre-opening team of Midas Hotel and Casino as Director of Sales and Marketing covering rooms, events, public relations and branding, as well as hotel and casino marketing.

After five years (2016), she moved to Okada Manila, also another pre-opening property as Director of Sales – Events and Marketing. After three years in that job, Okada Manila’s top management spearheaded by its President Takashi Oya recognized Reboredo’s strong leadership skills, wide network and stellar accomplishments, and set up the new division under her wing, catering to clients’ evolving needs with its diversified events venue portfolio.
