JW Marriott Hotel Opens in Qufu, China

Marriott has expanded its popular JW brand to Qufu, birthplace of the legendary Chinese philosopher Confucius.

The JW Marriott Hotel Qufu has 197 rooms and suites, comprising 188 individual guestrooms and 9 complex suites.

All guestrooms, ranging in size from 45 sqm to 98 sqm with 3.2-meter-high ceilings, feature the latest in-room technology, walk-in closets, and all the modern amenities that guests would expect from a JW Marriott hotel.

The JW Marriott Hotel Qufu has a variety of F&B outlets including a Tea Library, a beautiful space reminiscent of a traditional teahouse with wooden shelves displaying tea sets and books where guests can experience local tea culture guided by an expert tea master.

Facilities at the hotel include a 24-hour fitness center, indoor heated swimming pool, and plenty of event space for meetings and functions.
