Air France and KLM are now operating flights
from Manila to Paris via Taipei.
KLM operates the Manila - Taipei sector with Air
France operating the flights between Taipei and Paris-Charles de
Gaulle.
Flight AF8415 (operated by KLM) is scheduled to
leave Manila at 20:35 and arrive in Taipei at 22:55. Flight AF557
(operated by Air France) is timed to leave Taipei at 00:45 and
arrive in Paris-Charles de Gaulle at 07:50.
From Paris, flight AF552 (operated by Air
France) is scheduled to leave at 19:00 and arrive in Taipei at
14:45 the following day. From Taipei, AF8414 (operated by KLM) is
timed to depart at 17:05 and arrive in Manila at 19:20.
The Air France flights from Taipei operate on
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle
on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
KLM is using Boeing 777 aircraft between Taipei
and Manila, while Air France is using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner
aircraft from Taipei
to Paris with 30 seats in Business Cabin, 21 seats in Premium Economy and
225 seats in Economy class.
The Boeing 787-9 aircraft has windows that are
approximately 30% larger than on similar aircraft. It has improved
air pressure and humidity levels for greater travel comfort. Wi-Fi
is available from 20MB to 200MB for a price varying between EUR5
and EUR30.
Greener, cleaner and quieter, the Boeing 787-9
consumes less fuel and emits 20% to 25% less CO2 than previous generation
aircraft. Sound emissions are 20% lower.
Air France and KLM are members of the SkyTeam
alliance.
