Cebu Pacific has launched a WiFi Kit to help
passengers stay connected when they visit Philippines or travel
overseas.
Available in partnership with Big
Sky Nation, the portable CEB WiFi Kit allows travellers to enjoy unlimited
data roaming in the country with up to 4G/LTE speeds. It can
connect to up to five devices and can also function as a power
bank.
“Staying connected is now a must-have in
every traveller’s journey. From navigation apps to posting
pictures, every journey is made more convenient and memorable with
constant internet access,” said Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific Vice
President for Marketing and Customer Experience. “The CEB WiFi Kit
is a cost-efficient and convenient alternative to buying temporary
SIM cards that would require changing settings on mobile phones.”
The CEB WiFi Kit is available for flights arriving and
departing from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3.
Passengers can book the kit online as an add-on to their flights.
International travellers visiting Philippines can claim their
rented devices at the designated booth located at the Arrival Hall
of the airport.
Daily rental rates vary according to the destination and
the rental period, plus a refundable security deposit of PHP4,000. Zone 1, which covers all the Cebu Pacific
destinations in Asia, except Brunei and the United Arab Emirates,
costs P450 a day; while Zone 2, covering CEB destinations in
Australia and Guam, is available for P550.
The CEB WiFi Kit comes with a
hard-shell case, an USB cable, embedded battery pack, and user
manual.
Before departing from Manila, CEB
WiFi kit renters can return the device and claim their deposit at
the designated booth before the international boarding gates at
NAIA Terminal 3
