Thailand's Sala Hospitality Group has appointed
Benjaporn Magroodtong as Group Director of Sales & Marketing, and
Farah Dhiba as Group Director of Revenue Optimization.
Both women
will be based at Sala’s headquarters in Bangkok.
Benjaporn Magroodtong (Pla), a Thai national,
has worked with Sala Hospitality since July 2015 as Director of
Sales. With 20 years of experience with
brands such as JW Marriott and Anantara, as well as a Master’s
degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management, specialising in
Marketing from Bournemouth University in the UK, Pla is tasked with developing and executing sales and domestic
marketing, branding and advertising.
Indonesian-national Farah Dhiba has six years of
hotel industry experience and speaks four languages. Having graduated with a Master’s
Degree in International
Hospitality Management, specialising in Finance & Accounting from
the BBI Brussels Business Institute in Belgium, Farah joined NH
Hotel Group and quickly rose to become Revenue Manager for eight
properties – six in Brussels and two in London. Following a spell
with Rezidor Hotel Group, she then moved to Pentahotels where she
became Regional Head of Revenue Management, based in Frankfurt.
Sala Hospitality Group owns and operates seven properties
under the brands Sala Resorts and Spas and Sala boutique. Sala
Hospitality Group is also the majority shareholder of the Six
Senses Resort on Koh Samui.
