The 318-room Four Points by Sheraton Kuala
Lumpur, Chinatown has appointed Abhimanyu Singh as
General Manager.
With more than 15 years of hospitality industry
experience, Abhimanyu first joined Marriott International in 2004
at the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu.
Since then, he has worked in the pre-opening
teams of the JW Mumbai Sahar - the largest JW Marriott hotel in
India, JW Marriott Macau and JW Marriott Pune.
Prior to being appointed GM of the Four Points
by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Chinatown, Abhimanyu held the position
of Resident Manager at the JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay in
Vietnam.
“I am delighted and honored to lead the opening
team of the all new Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur,
Chinatown,” said Abhimanyu. “We can’t wait to share with the city our product that
is a true reflection of the Chinatown locality. We’ve been quite
fortunate to partner with an owning company that has meticulously
invested in the design and delivered this outstanding product. The
hotel is going to be a perfect destination for travelers who love
to explore and for our very own locals to experience the
neighborhood’s revival through cross cultural Food and Beverage
experiences and adventures within and beyond the hotel.”
During his career thus far, Abhimanyu has
received numerous accolades including: Rooms Leader
of the Year – Luxury, Marriott International, Asia Pacific – 2015
and 2017, as well as the Global Marriott Rooms Leadership Award -
EDGE (Excellence in Delivering the Guest Experience) in 2012.
The Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur,
Chinatown is scheduled to open in the first half of December 2019.
