The Fullerton Hotels Singapore Introduces Tapendium Digital Concierge Solution to Rooms

The Fullerton Hotels Singapore has introduced the interactive Tapendium Digital Concierge Solution in all its guest rooms.

Following a successful trial in the first half of 2017, The Fullerton Hotel and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore have transitioned from printed compendiums to easy to use interactive Samsung tablets which house the Digital Concierge Solution.

Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, General Manager of The Fullerton Heritage, said, “We are delighted to be the first Southeast Asian hotel group to implement the Tapendium solution in all our guest rooms and suites. This technology has allowed us to further our efforts on becoming a “Smart Fullerton” by enabling more efficient delivery of our services as well as more time for our teams to create personalised experiences for our guests.”

Room service is featured with intuitive menus on the e-Compendium that recommends complementing dishes and drinks. Guests can also book hotel restaurant tables and spa treatments using the tablet; as well as research Singapore’s tourist attractions and events, and plan their travel itineraries.

With information updated in real time by the hotels’ team, guests are assured that they have the most current information and recommendations in the palm of their hand.

“From January to October 2017, we received a high guest satisfaction rating for the new in-room digital concierge service which also acts as an e-Compendium, replacing the in-room printed version and other printed collateral. In the long-term, this will deliver cost savings and drive sustainability as part of our efforts to become a more environmentally conscious organisation,” added Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale.

This deployment into 500 rooms at The Fullerton Hotels Singapore – 400 rooms at The Fullerton Hotel and 100 rooms at The Fullerton Bay Hotel – joins Tapendium’s significant presence in Australia.
