Banyan Tree Phuket Appoints Shannon Creado as Area Director of Sales & Marketing

Banyan Tree Phuket has appointed Mr. Shannon Creado as Area Director of Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Creado has extensive experience within the hospitality industry in Asia, having worked in South Korea, Sri Lanka, India and Thailand.

Born and educated in India, Mr. Creado began his hospitality career in 1999, rising through the ranks until he became Director of Sales and Marketing for Goa Marriott Resort in 2006.

He later took on DOSM positions at other Marriott resorts in Asia, as well as Anantara and other brands under Minor Hotels Group.

Mr. Creado has won several awards and accolades during his career, including “Young Hotel Sales & Marketing Manager of the Year” Award from the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India, as well as Marriott International’s Chairman’s Circle Award. He was also “Manager of the Year” in Marriott’s first year of operation in India.
