Randal Linhart Joins Wharf Hotels as Group Director of Restaurants, Bars and Events

Wharf Hotels has appointed Randal Linhart as Group Director of Restaurants, Bars and Events, reporting to the hospitality management company’s Vice President, Operations, Thomas Salg.

A seasoned hotelier, Randal has over 25 years of experience in hospitality, having held senior positions with luxury hotel groups including Rosewood and Shangri-La in 14 cities throughout Asia, Australia, the Caribbean, Europe and North America.

With expertise in designing and developing new restaurant concepts, Randal has spearheaded over 80 hotel projects including over 200 hotel restaurants.

In his new role, Randal will lead sustainable efforts for the group including sourcing sustainable food suppliers and lead the elimination of plastic consumption across the group.

In addition, he will drive food and beverage marketing initiatives and new signatures for the group’s brands, Niccolo and Marco Polo Hotels.

A graduate of Hospitality Administration from Vancouver Community College, Canada, Randal completed his professional training in HACCP, ISO 22001 and ISO 9002.
