VFS Global Opens Mobile UK Visa Application Service in Bangkok, Thailand

VFS Global has launched a Visa Application Centre on wheels, an innovative new solution for UK visa applicants in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Mobile Visa Application Centre (MVAC) is a customised mobile facility equipped with end-to-end technology to enroll biometrics and accept visa applications remotely for individual or group submissions, and will be available at two locations in the city of Bangkok - Ladprao and Suan Luang.

“This is an excellent example of modern, market-leading innovation by VFS Global in Thailand and shows how UKVI and VFS Global can work in partnership to serve our customers in Thailand and globally,” said Mr. Nick Crouch, Regional Director for UK Visas and Immigration in South and South East Asia. “The MVAC showcases two key principles for how we work – firstly, using technology better and secondly, placing greater focus on the customer experience of the visa process. By producing this innovative, technology-led solution VFS Global can now offer a more flexible and creative offer for customers, ensuring the 80,000-plus Thai’s who apply for a UK visa each year can now do so in a more modern and convenient way.”

To avail the service, applicants must choose Bangkok as the location and select “Mobile VAC- Crystal Design Center” or “Mobile VAC- Thanya Park” in the appointment category. Applicants can also fill the online application form and book an appointment for one of the addresses mentioned online.

There is a fee of THB 3800 per application which must be paid online through credit card.
