Rosewood Hotel Group has strengthened its
business development team with the appointment of Noel Merainer as
Vice President Development - Asia Pacific.
Noel will lead the group’s
expansion in the region for its four brands: Rosewood, New World, penta and the newly
launched Khos.
“Noel
has vast experience in evaluating business opportunities and
securing successful projects, in addition to supporting the launch
of new brands in Asia Pacific; we are confident his strengths will
expand our footprint to new and exciting markets in the region,”
said Karl Bieberach-Dielman, chief development officer for
Rosewood Hotel Group.
Noel has over 17 years of hospitality industry
experience in the Asia Pacific,
Middle East, Europe and North America hotel markets.
Prior to
joining Rosewood, he held various positions at Marriott
International for eight years including vice president,
development planning and feasibility for Asia Pacific.
He also
worked as regional director of revenue management at Shangri-La Hotels &
Resorts following six years in operations with Four Seasons Hotels
& Resorts.
Noel graduated from Cornell University
with a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration.
