The Royal Thai Air Force has taken delivery of
its third SSJ100 aircraft.
The aircraft, which is in a business
configuration, will be used by the Royal Thai Air Force to fly
high ranking government officials and others both within the
country and abroad.
The other SSJ100 aircraft have been operated by
RTAF since July 2016.
The aircraft is the first business-version of
the SSJ100 to be acquired by
a foreign customer. Other operators of the business-version are: RusJet,
special purpose flight detachment ‘Rossiya’ of the the Facilities
and Property Management Office under President of Russian
Federation, EMERCOM flight detachment, Kazakhmys Corporation and
others.
There are now 10 SSJ100 business-version
aircraft in operation around the world.
