Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah Appoints Ammar Kevin Eu as GM

The recently opened Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah, on Langkawi’s Western shoreline, has appointed Perak-born Ammar Kevin Eu as General Manager.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Kevin began his career in F&B as a Restaurant Manager. He then moved on to join the pre-opening team of JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur managing the restaurant openings and eventually overseeing the expansion of the hotel’s conference centre.

After a decade with JW Marriott, Kevin joined the Vistana Hotel Kuantan as Hotel Manager, and the Tanjong Jara Resort, a luxury beach resort in the East Coast of Malaysia, as Resort Manager.

In 2013, Kevin took on his first General Manager role at Vistana Kuala Lumpur before moving on to head the pre-opening team at the 5-star luxury resort Mangala Resort & Spa in Kuantan and later on, the Swiss-Garden Hotel in Malacca.

The Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah is located 10 kilometers from Langkawi International Airport and 200 meters away from the beach. The hotel opened on 17 November 2018.
