Thai Airways has once again adjusted its flight schedule and
even
cancelled some flights in Northern Thailand on 22-23
November 2018 and 31 December 2018, "to maintain safety standards".
During the annual
Loy Kratong and Floating Lantern Festival, people in many provinces in
Northern Thailand release lanterns into the sky that could pose an
aviation hazard. As a security precaution and in accordance to
safety standards, the airline has cancelled and rescheduled certain
flights.
Cancelled flights
between
Bangkok and Chiang Mai
1) Flight TG120 from Bangkok - Chiang Mai
during 22-23 November 2018 and 31 December 2018. 2) Flight
TG121 from Chiang Mai - Bangkok during 22-23 November 2018 and
31 December 2018.
Flight Schedule
Adjustment
1) Flight TG103 on 22 November 2018 has been
rescheduled to leave Chiang Mai at
09.55 and arrive in Bangkok at 11.15. Normally the flight departs from Chiang Mai at 10.05 and arrives in
Bangkok at 11.25.
2) Flight TG105 on 22 November 2018 is now timed
to
depart from Chiang Mai at 12.05 and arrive in Bangkok at
13.15. This flight , normally departs from Chiang Mai at 10.40 and arrives in Bangkok at 11.55.
3) On 22-23 November 2018 and 31
December 2018, Flight TG116 will depart from
Bangkok at 15.40 and arrive in Chiang Mai at 16.50. The flight normally departs from Bangkok at 17.10 and
arrives in Chiang Mai at 18.30
4) On 22-23 November 2018, Flight TG117 is now
scheduled to depart from Chiang Mai at 17.50 and arrive in
Bangkok at 19.00. It would normally depart at 19.20 and arrive in Bangkok at 20.40.
