World Rugby Chief Executive, Brett Gosper, said, "We are delighted to be launching the online store, which will be the destination for all official licensed merchandise related to Asia’s first Rugby World Cup. With new products to be rolled out in the coming weeks and months, fans will be treated to a collection with a distinctly Japanese flavour, while also celebrating the heritage and prestige of the tournament and the competing teams."

As part of a campaign to protect fans from counterfeit merchandise, World Rugby has created an official guide for fans to check whether they are buying from official sources.
