Ulf Bremer Appointed GM of Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong

Ulf Bremer, a seasoned hotelier with over two decades’ of work experience in travel and hospitality, has been appointed as General Manager of the Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong.

No stranger to Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Mr Bremer has worked at many flagship Shangri-La properties over a span of 18 years, including in Shanghai, Taipei, Kota Kinabalu, Beijing and Jakarta.

Prior to his current appointment, he was the general manager of Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi in 2017 and of Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong between 2014 and 2017.

“It is a real pleasure to be back working at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong, and I am honoured to have the opportunity to lead a motivated and exceptional team to offer our guests an exquisite and truly memorable stay with hospitality straight from the heart whilst ensuring the hotel achieves even higher levels of excellence,” said Mr Bremer.

A German national, Mr Bremer started his professional hospitality career in Switzerland in 1985.
