Travelodge has signed its third hotel in
Thailand, and its first in Phuket.
The Travelodge Phuket Town, scheduled to open in
2020, will feature 159 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a
gymnasium and a large swimming pool.
The hotel will be located in Phuket Town,
just a few steps away from Central Festival Phuket, with
convenient access to shopping centres, attractions and
entertainment in the area.
“Following the debut of the Travelodge brand in
Thailand in mid-2017, Travelodge Phuket Town represents our
continued commitment to expanding the brand’s footprint throughout
Thailand,” said CEO of Travelodge Thailand, Mr.
Jonathan Wigley. "We are confident that Travelodge Phuket Town
will offer guests a value stay with the brand’s exceptional
hospitality, fuss-free quality and trendy living ethos that is
consistently provided across all Travelodge properties."
Stephen Burt, Chairman of Travelodge Asia, added, “Phuket is
one of the most popular and quality beach destinations in Asia and
are very pleased that Travelodge is making a footprint in such a
popular destination. We are excited about the expansion
opportunities for Travelodge in Thailand. The Travelodge Pattaya
and Travelodge Sukhumvit Bangkok marked our initial entry into
Thailand last year, and with the successful kick off with both
properties, we have since witnessed an impressive pipeline of new
opportunities which is testimony to the strength of our brand
here.”
