Four Seasons has expanded its enviable portfolio
of luxury hotels to Brazil with the opening of the Four Seasons
Hotel and Residences São Paulo at Nações Unidas.
The property, housing a 258-room hotel and 84
Four Seasons Private Residences, is located along the Pinheiros
river in southern Sao Paulo.
“Sao Paulo has held a special place in my heart
for many years. Now, the opportunity to welcome our first guests
from the community and around the world to a city that continues
to evolve and excite is a dream come true,” said Michael Schmid,
who has returned to Brazil to manage the property as GM.
The hotel features a pool which, through very
clever design, appears to extend out over
the surrounding treetops. The fitness centre also offers inspiring
skyline views across the treetops just outside.
Spa Director
Betina Weber and her team of skilled therapists at the Spa offer
the latest in modern treatments with a local twist, including
bespoke treatments such as the Sacred Feminine ritual, and the
Olfactive Journey inspired by ancient aromatic healing therapies.
The hotel also features an Italian restaurant
headed by Executive Chef Paolo Lavezzini, a bar where guests will
can expect the creative genius of Head Mixologist Paulo Ravelli to
surprise and delight, a lobby lounge and 1,409 square metres of
meeting space.
In 2019, the Four Seasons Hotel São Paulo will
open an
exclusive Global Traveller Relaxation Lounge where travellers booking select room categories will
be able to enjoy an
array of privileges including dedicated concierge, access to a
private boardroom, complimentary refreshments throughout the day,
and more.
Four Seasons Hotel São Paulo at Nações Unidas is
the first Four Seasons location in Brazil, joining sister
properties in Bogota, Buenos Aires and Costa Rica as part of the
company’s growing Central and South American portfolio.
