Bombardier has
appointed Sam Abdelmalek as Chief Transformation and Supply
Chain Officer.
In this position, Sam will assume
responsibility for the continued transformation of the company’s
operations and lead the company’s supply chain activities to
reduce costs and improve efficiency and quality to support
Bombardier’s growth objectives.
He will report directly to Alain Bellemare,
President and Chief Executive Officer, Bombardier Inc.

creating value through effective supply chain management and
process improvement at large industrial companies. Sam will work

long-term growth objectives.”
Sam has almost 30 years of
aerospace and industrial experience. Most recently,
he served as Vice President, Global Supply Chain at Pratt &
Whitney. Prior to
that, he held a number of senior leadership roles at United
Technologies Corporation (UTC), including Vice President, Supply
Chain Management at the Aerospace Systems division of UTC and Vice
President, Global Supply Management & Supply Chain Integration for
UTC Operations.
Sam began his career at Bell Helicopter and
Turbocor Inc., where he held positions of increasing
responsibility related to engineering, manufacturing, supply chain
and operations.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical
Engineering from the University of Montreal’s École Polytechnique
and a Masters of Business Administration from Concordia
University.
