Tourism Australia has become a sponsor of the
2018 WYSE Exchange Australia Youth Tourism Conference
that will take place Wednesday, 9 May at the Ovolo Woolloomooloo
Hotel in Sydney.
The full-day, national educational
conference will showcase a range of speakers, leaders and
innovators who will come together and share insights, best
practices, and identify opportunities to grow Australia’s inbound
youth travel industry.
WYSE Travel Confederation Director
General, David Chapman, said, “We are delighted that Tourism
Australia is sponsoring the third edition of the WYSE Exchange
Youth Tourism Conference. The conference will serve as an
important educational platform for Australia’s inbound youth
travel industry and the WYSE Travel Confederation team is
currently working with a local advisory committee to ensure an
interesting, relevant and valuable programme is delivered in May.”
The Australia Youth Tourism Conference is part of a three-day
trade event that will include business-to-business appointments
with international buyers, social networking events, and sits
alongside the annual BOA NSW Ball.
Tourism Australia’s Industry Relations
Manager for Youth, Kristy Carstairs, said, “The Australia Youth
Tourism Conference is an important forum to share ideas. We’re
proud to support the conference and look forward to using this
forum with the industry to find inspiring ways to encourage more
young travellers and working holiday makers to visit Australia.”
