Flight Centre is preparing to open a high-tech
shop on Cecil Street in Singapore.
The shop, or hyperstore as the company
calls it, will provide specialist services
and onsite consulting, along with an augmented digital strategy to
cater to an increasingly mobile-centric customer base.
One of the unique services the Flight
Centre shop will provide is a
mobile-consulting service which allows customers to virtually meet up with
a Flight Centre consultant at a location of their choice.
David Fraser, Managing Director Asia, Flight
Centre Travel Group, said, “Flight Centre is constantly evolving
and innovating to stay attuned to the changing consumer and
digital landscape. By introducing mobile consulting services, we
are moving away from the traditional retail agency mindset and
challenging new frontiers to deliver better service and more
amazing experiences for our busy clients.”
The company's aim is to make it easy for
customers to transact and interact with the brand via the channel
of their choice. In line with this, the company has developed a
stronger digital presence via their online booking portals to
emails, live chat and even WhatsApp messaging; in addition to
rolling out its hyperstore and mobile consulting models.
The Flight Centre shop is
located at 137 Cecil Street and will officially open its doors on
4 September 2017.
