First Innside by Melia Hotel Opens in China

Melia has expanded its Innside by Melia brand to China.

Located in the Zhengdong New District of Zhengzhou, China, the Innside by Melia Zhengzhou is the fourth Melia Hotels International property to open in China, following the Gran Melia Xian, Melia Jinan and Melia Shanghai Hongqiao.

The 335-room new-build hotel is located a three-minute walk from the Zhengzhou East Railway Station.

“Opening Innside by Melia Zhengzhou puts us in the very heart of a dynamic city and extends the momentum of Melia Hotels International in China,” said Bernardo Cabot Estarellas, Senior Vice President of Melia Hotels International Asia Pacific. “We’re very proud because Innside by Melia Zhengzhou is the fruition of a longstanding partnership with Greenland, who have been instrumental to Melia’s success and growth in China.”

An open-plan lobby design is complemented by Syndeo, the hotel’s all-day dining restaurant. Meaning “connect” in Greek, Syndeo offers a variety of local and international dishes. After work, Syndeo is transformed into a bar, where guests can savor signature cocktails while enjoying views of the city.

The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi throughout and also features a 24-hour fitness center for guests.

There are 18 Melia hotels currently in operation within the Asia Pacific region and the group is aiming to have over 40 hotels by 2022.
