Elbit Systems will showcase its portfolio of
advanced capabilities and solutions for National Guard Soldiers
and Airmen at the 2017 National Guard Association of the United
States (NGAUS) General Conference & Exhibition.
This year’s event will take place 7-10
September at the Kentucky Exposition Center in the Kentucky
International Convention Center in Louisville, Ky.
“The National Guard performs many unique
missions critical to our communities and our country,” said Raanan
Horowitz, president and CEO of Elbit Systems of America. “Our
company is committed to helping the National Guard perform their
missions to keep America safe by providing them the very best in
advanced technologies, capabilities and solutions.”
Examples of the company’s advanced technologies, capabilities and
solutions for improving mission effectiveness and readiness
include:
• Enhanced pilot and aircrew situational
awareness for flight missions during day, night and degraded
visual environment. Through the advanced technology of the Digital
Eye Piece, National Guard pilots flying the F-15 and F-16 aircraft
are able to transition easily from day to night operations while
in flight, providing the advantage of a 24/7 helmet mounted
display capability. In addition, BrightNite (pictured) offers a
multi-spectral panoramic solution that assists pilots in flying
and landing in degraded weather conditions by delivering
crystal-clear visuals of the landscape, flight data, and mission
data to both eyes of the pilot. SKYLENS displays high-resolution
flight information, images, and video on a high transparency
visor.
• Cost-effective capabilities to engage moving or
static targets in various conditions. Elbit Systems’
small, lightweight precision munition seekers are highly accurate
against stationary and high-speed moving targets. Laser seekers
and sensors provide increased accuracy and flexibility and
minimize potential for collateral damage.
• Increased
aircraft mission availability and reduced operating cost. The
company offers contractor logistic support services and cockpit
upgrades for several military aircraft platforms. These include
site and depot level maintenance, material management, engineering
services, aircraft modifications, and cockpit upgrades that
sustain aircraft mission readiness. Additionally, Elbit Systems’ subsidiary, M-7 Aerospace LLC, through type certificate
ownership, is the original equipment manufacturer of the
RC-26/Metro aircraft.
• Early missile warning threat
detection and improved aircraft survivability. The combat-proven
IR Missile Warning System for the F- 16 aircraft offers Air
National Guard pilots earlier and improved situational awareness
of threats.
In addition to providing advanced
technology capabilities and solutions for the National Guard and
the U.S. military services, the company also provides situational
awareness capabilities for U.S. border patrol agents and
commercial aviation pilots, as well as life-saving medical
instrumentation technologies.
Elbit Systems’ exhibit will be
located in booth 1025.
