AccorHotels has signed a management agreement
for a Fairmont
hotel in Seoul, South Korea.
Located in the financial district of Yeouido, the 326-room Fairmont Ambassador Seoul hotel is part of
an integrated development by Parc 1 comprising a retail mall and
two office towers.
Designed by renowned architect Richard Rogers,
the hotel will feature 326 guest rooms, a rooftop
terrace, spa, fitness centre, pool, conference hall and four
restaurants and a bar.
The Fairmont Ambassador Seoul is located adjacent to Yeouido
Park and is within 5 to 10 minutes’ walk to Yeouido and Yeouinauru
train stations.
Mr. Patrick Basset, Chief Operating Officer of
AccorHotels Upper Southeast and Northeast Asia, said, “AccorHotels
has 30 years of experience in managing hotels in South Korea. We
are very excited to announce this partnership where we can
leverage on our expertise in hotel management to set a luxury
footprint to introduce the Fairmont brand into the market. The
opening of Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in 2020 will become the
group’s newest landmark in South Korea.”
The hotel is scheduled to open in 2020.
