Thai Airways has adjusted its flight schedule and
cancelled some flights in northern Thailand between 3-4
November 2017 to maintain safety standards during the annual Loy Kratong and
Floating Lantern Festival.
As many provinces in northern Thailand release
floating lanterns it could pose an aviation hazard, and as such
the airline has decided to modify its flight schedule as follows:
Flight TG120 from Bangkok - Chiang Mai
during 3-4 November 2017 - cancelled Flight TG121 from Chiang Mai -
Bangkok during 3-4 November 2017 - cancelled
Flight
TG103 on 3 November 2017, normally departs from Chiang Mai at
10.05 hours and arrives in Bangkok at 11.25 hours, is is now
scheduled to
depart from Chiang Mai at 09.55 and arrive in Bangkok at 11.15.
Flight TG105 on 3 November 2017, normally
departs from Chiang Mai at 10.40 hours and arrives in Bangkok at
11.55 hours, will now depart from Chiang Mai at 12.05
and arrive in Bangkok at 13.15.
Flight TG116 during 3-4 November 2017,
normally departs from Bangkok at 17.10 hours and arrives in Chiang
Mai at 18.30 hours, is now scheduled to depart
from Bangkok at 16.00 and arrive in Chiang Mai at 17.10.
Flight TG117 during 3-4 November 2017,
normally departs from Chiang Mai at 19.20 hours and arrives in
Bangkok at 20.40 hours, will now depart from Chiang Mai at 18.00
and arrive in Bangkok at 19.10.
