Wouter De Graaf has been
appointed as General Manager of the 223-room Sofitel
Singapore City Centre which is slated to open in the second
quarter of 2017.
Born and raised in The Netherlands, Wouter has
over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has
held senior roles at various international hotels in the USA and
New Zealand.
Wouter first joined AccorHotels in 2008 as General
Manager at the Sofitel Queenstown Hotel & Spa and was most
recently the Area General Manager of Sofitel New Zealand and
General Manager of Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour since 2012.
Sofitel Singapore City Centre is
situated above the Tanjong Pagar MRT station in the Tanjong Pagar Centre designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill.
The hotel is the crowning glory of GuocoLand Groups S$3.2
billion flagship development in Singapore which will include
Singapores tallest building, standing at 290m where the hotel is
located.
