Korean Air is to launch flights between Incheon
International Airport in Seoul and Okinawa, Japans southernmost
prefecture.
Korean Air will launch daily flights on
the Incheon-Okinawa route on 5 May 2016, utilizing Boeing 777-200
aircraft seating 248 passengers.
Flight KE735 will depart Seoul/Incheon at
15:35 to arrive in Okinawa at 17:55.
The return
flight, KE736 will depart Okinawa at 19:05 to land in
Seoul/Incheon at 21:35.
The new
Korean Air flights to Okinawa will bring convenient access to this
southern region of Japan rich in touristic resources, including Shuri Castle, which is a registered UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Its also the place to discover the Nakagusuku castle ruins,
incredible limestone caves and some of the world's most colorful
coral reefs.
The addition of Okinawa to the route
network brings to 16 the number of Japanese destinations served by
the airline.
