Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) has appointed Matt O’Keefe as Chief Technology Officer of Hotel
Distribution, and Matt Brennan as Vice President of Hotel
Operations.

division with the goal of becoming the global leader in hotel
bookings for business travelers,” said Scott Brennan, President
CWT Hotels. “The two Matt’s (O’Keefe and Brennan) bring 40 years
of experience to CWT, which will help us reach that goal. We’re
thrilled to be able to work alongside such dynamic individuals and
look forward to the impact they will have on our business.”
Matt O’Keefe’s 20 years of technology and software
experience provide rich expertise and deep knowledge of the travel
industry.
He was most recently Chief Technology Officer for Hyatt
Hotels & Resorts, a role he took in 2013, and was responsible for
global technical architecture, technology standards and software
development to support eCommerce and Marketing.
Before joining Hyatt, O’Keefe served as Senior Technology Architect at
Morningstar, Inc., where he was responsible for technical
architecture, standards and platform services.
O’Keefe graduated
from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of
Science in Computer Science.
He will report to Scott Brennan and
Andrew Jordan, CWT’s Executive Vice President and Chief Technology
Officer.
Matt Brennan has been in the facilities space
since 2009 and has supported other third-party service industries
since 1996.
He most recently served as Vice President of Field
Partner Management of QSI Facilities. Previous roles included Vice
President of Operations for Oakleaf Waste Management, where he was
responsible for the overall management of their network of waste
haulers.
Earlier in his career, Brennan was Vice President Vendor
Network & Wholesale Product Marketing for GE Finance, launching a
new business venture and managing $60 million of annual third
party vendor expense. At GE, he also served as Operations Leader,
Shared Service, where he managed all operational functions in a
multi-site outsource environment for a $3 billion medical
equipment leasing business.
He graduated from Concordia
University-River Forest with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational
Management.
He will report directly to Scott Brennan.
