Rachael Harman Appointed GM of Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu

Ms. Rachael Harman has been appointed as General Manager of Le Méridien Kota Kinabalu.

Born in Adelaide, Australia, Rachael’s 19-year career with Starwood Hotels and Resorts began in F&B at Sheraton on the Park, Sydney. She then moved on to numerous roles at Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas, The Westin Melbourne and The Westin Auckland Lighter Quay.

Captivated by the diverse culture of Malaysia, Rachael moved to Kuala Lumpur in 2010 to join The Westin Kuala Lumpur. Over her 6 years at The Westin, she held various key management positions including Hotel Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing.

“I am extremely proud to join one of Kota Kinabalu’s leading hotels which has recently unveiled a new look after undergoing a chic renovation,” Rachael saod. “I eagerly look forward to working with the dynamic team of associates to ensure that we continue delivering enriching brand experiences for our guests so they leave feeling fulfilled and having discovered the beauty of Sabah.”

During her free time, Rachael enjoys cooking, travelling and spending time with her husband and her two beautiful daughters.
