Cebu Pacific Strengthens Domestic Routes for
Summer
[HD video below] Cebu Pacific has increased flight frequencies
from Manila, Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao to key domestic and
international destinations, to accommodate passenger demand during
the summer peak travel period.
Beginning 1 April 2016, the airline
will mount an additional daily flight from Manila to the popular
vacation spot of Bohol (Tagbilaran), for a total of 28 weekly
flights.
The airline will also strengthen its Cebu hub
with a total of 51 weekly flights between Cebu and Davao, gateway
to the Philippines’ southern islands, beginning 1 May 2016.
Throughout the summer season, the airline will
increase frequencies from Cebu to the following domestic
destinations: Bacolod (up to 17 weekly), General Santos City (up
to 10 weekly), Kalibo (up to 17 weekly), Puerto Princesa (up to 22
weekly), and Zamboanga (up to 12 weekly).
Those
flying between Cebu and Iloilo can choose among 16 weekly flights,
with some flights upgraded from ATR to Airbus A320 aircraft to
increase the number of available seats.
Within the
first week of April, Cebu Pacific also aims to meet robust
passenger traffic in Visayas and Mindanao with additional three weekly frequencies between Iloilo and Davao, and two weekly
frequencies between Davao and Zamboanga. Four weekly frequencies
between Zamboanga and Tawi-Tawi will also be added starting 1 May.
“We hope to encourage our valued guests to cross more
destinations off their travel bucket list, with our additional
flights this summer. Passengers can maximize their vacation by
taking advantage of our lowest year-round fares and widest flight
network in the Philippines,” said Atty. JR Mantaring, Cebu Pacific
Vice President for Corporate Affairs.
