HD Video Interview with Founder & CEO of
Miners Hospitality, Mr. Mendes O. Cavin
[HD video below] Exclusive HD video interview
with the Founder & CEO of Miners Hospitality, Mr. Mendes O. Cavin.
In this interview, filmed at The Monttra Pattaya
resort in Thailand on 29 August 2016, Mr. Cavin tells us about his company and its
plans for the future.
We ask Mr. Cavin about the company name, where
it comes from, and whether it could cause any possible confusion
with Thailand's largest hospitality company, Minor Hotels Group.
The Monttra Pattaya resort only opened in
December 2015, so we ask Mr. Cavin about the first eight months,
which overseas visitors it is attracting, what plans he has for
the restaurant and what are some of its USPs.
We also ask how the
property has been affected by the expansion of Pattaya's U-Tapao
Airport and which routes Mr. Cavin would like to see airlines
launch from there.
We discuss the company's expansion plans, what
its three projects in Indonesia are about, where they will be and
when they will open.
You will also learn about a very exciting
project in Myanmar, as well as what the two new hotels in Pattaya
are going to be like and what innovative high-tech features they
will have.
Mr. Cavin tells how the properties will be
branded, his thoughts on travel trade shows and marketing in
general, and how many hotels the company is hoping to have open by
end-2020.
Finding and retaining quality staff is a major
topic and challenge for the hospitality industry and as such we
ask Mr. Cavin about Miners Unite, what it has accomplished so far,
how people can get involved and what its expansion plans are.
All that and much, much more in the HD video
interview below.
