The Anam, colonial-styled beachfront resort in
Nha Trang, Vietnam, has appointed Duncan MacLean as General
Manager.
Mr MacLean's career started in 1975 with InterContinental
Hotels Group in the UK. Ten years later he moved to Australia with
Hilton International and was one of the first foreign hoteliers to work in
Myanmar after the first national elections where he spent a
further 10 years before working in the hot spots of Kabul and East
Timor. He then moved to Vietnam where he has lived for the past
decade.
"After four decades in the hotel industry I can
truly say this destination and this property are poised to achieve
something very special," said Mr MacLean. "The all-villa resort is
in an incredible beachfront location on the Northern Cam Ranh
Peninsula, the product itself is first class, combining colonial
charm, service and style – and the team is strong and dynamic."
The Anam soft opened in Q3 of this year and is offering a 40%
discount until 20 December when it is set to be fully
operational with all facilities and services.
