Pkfare, a China-based travel aggregator, has
signed an agreement with Amadeus to accelerate its international expansion
plans.
Under the multi-year agreement with Pkfare,
Amadeus will deliver its extensive range of flight content through
the Master Pricer solution for
points of sale outside of Mainland China.
Amadeus will also provide hotel content through
Amadeus Hotel Web Services, and Pkfare will implement the Amadeus B2B Wallet Prepaid solution for
automated payments to overseas suppliers.
Jason Song, CEO
and Founder of Pkfare, said, “This partnership with Amadeus is
a critical milestone in our growth. We’ve grown very quickly in
China but recognise that to take our business to the next level we
need to become a global player. As a B2B travel aggregator it is
important that we deliver the best hotel and air content available
to our customers. Our agreement with Amadeus ensures we will do
that via the best search technology available, positioning us well
to compete on the international stage.”
Albert Pozo, President, Amadeus
Asia Pacific, added, “We invest more than 13 million Chinese Yuan in research and
development every day, and that’s why we are confident we offer
our partners the best search technology and the most expansive
content available. This is an exciting partnership, and a
testament to our continued commitment to powering Chinese travel
companies’ global expansion.”
