Russian Helicopters is taking part in FIDAE 2016 International Air & Space
Fair in Santiago, Chile.
The
company is showcasing its newest Ma-171A2 helicopter for the first
time; together with Rosoboronprom it will also demonstrate Mi-27NE
and Mi-35M military helicopters.
Presently, more than 200
Russian and Soviet made commercial and military helicopters are
operated in Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, Peru and in a number of
other South American countries.
Chile, a country with special
mountainous terrain, needs firefighting and cargo-lifting
helicopters.
The company's pavilion
features Mi-171A2 and Ka-32A11BC helicopters in search and rescue
modifications.
As for the military helicopters, Russian
Helicopters and Rosoboronexport will introduce visitors to the
multirole military transport Mi-35M and combat Mi-28NE "Night
Hunter" helicopters.
FIDAE 2016 is on from 29 March to 3 April.
