Scotlands First hub by Premier Inn Opens in
Edinburgh
Two new Premier Inn hotels have opened in
Edinburgh, including Scotlands first hub by Premier Inn.
Both hotels, located adjacent to one another,
are a stones throw from Edinburghs historical street, the Royal
Mile.
The Premier Inn features a Thyme restaurant,
bedrooms which showcase the companys latest high-spec, modern
design, a 40" flat screen TV and a luxury king-size Hypnos bed.
The new and highly innovative hub by Premier Inn
hotel allows guests to use an app on Android, iPhone or Apple
Watch to book, check-in, customise their room or even control
their Smart TVs.
Simon Ewins, Chief Operating Officer for Premier
Inn and hub, said, The positive feedback weve received so far
has been fantastic, especially for our first new hub in Scotland,
which Im confident will continue thanks to the brilliant team we
have on board at both hotels, who Im immensely proud of.
The new openings takes the number of hotels in
Scotland to 68, which is part of Premier Inns expansion plan that
will see the company extend its current number of bedrooms UK-wide
to 85,000 by 2020.
