Starwood is to open a 310-room Luxury Collection
hotel in Changsha, China on 28 September 2016.
The Luxury Collection Hotel, Changsha, is
surrounded by breathtaking scenery including views of Lake Meixi
and the majestic Yuelu Mountain.
Facilities will include a 25-meter heated indoor
swimming pool, a 1,100-sqm spa with 14 treatment rooms, four
distinctive restaurants, 2,700-sqm of flexible event space on the
third level overlooking Meixi Lake including the 1,090-sqm Jin Mao
Grand Ballroom, meeting and board rooms.

offer an urban oasis of modern luxury where guests can enjoy
serene river views, captivating culture and prime access to the
city’s multilayered history,” explained Eddie Tang, general

All rooms and suites will offer
views of the city, the Meixi Lake and the stunning Meixi Lake
International Cultural and Arts Center, a masterpiece by renowned
architect Zaha Hadid.
The hotel sits in the Meixi Lake
International New Town, a key component of the national Xiangjiang
New Zone, completes with high-end residences and a full range of
educational, cultural, and urban life infrastructures.
The town
