Hôtel des Arts Saigon Appoints Carl Gagnon as General Manager

The Hôtel des Arts Saigon has appointed Mr Carl Gagnon as General Manager.

With over twenty years of hotel management experience in the luxury hospitality industry, and having served in various key management positions in prominent properties in the Americas, Caribbean, and Asia, Carl brings a wealth of expertise to the Hôtel des Arts Saigon, an MGallery Collection hotel.

Prior to his move to Ho Chi Minh in late June, Carl spent nearly 14 years with Accor Hotels. He served most recently as the General Manager at the five-star Grand Mercure Danang Hotel and also managed the operations of the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, the largest Sofitel property worldwide. He also worked as Hotel Manager at the Sofitel Grand Resort & Villas Hua Hin in Thailand and played a pivotal role in the re-positioning of the Metropole Hanoi into Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi.

Carl launched his hospitality career in North America. He first joined Accor Hotels in his native Canada at Sofitel Montreal Golden Mile in 2003, prior to that he also worked for the F&B Direction at Club Med in the Caribbean & Mexico and Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts.

Hôtel des Arts Saigon is centrally located in the most vibrant district of Ho Chi Minh, just steps away from Notre Dame Cathedral, the Opera House, the historic Saigon Central Post Office and other key tourist attractions.
