The U.S.A. defeated China 3-0 and were crowned
champions of the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix – Hong Kong leg
on Sunday.
China finished in 2nd place, while Netherlands
ended the tournament in 3rd with Germany in 4th place.
Ms. Lauren Gibbemeyer from the U.S.A. won the
tournament's Most Valuable Player award, and Mr. Karch Kiraly won
the Most Outstanding Coach award.
The 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix final
round will be held 6-10 July 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand.
China, U.S.A.,
Netherlands, Russia, Brazil and Thailand will compete against each
for the FIVB Volleyball
World Grand Prix 2016 championship title.
