Jin Jiang Signs Hotel in Shanghai International Automobile City

Jin Jiang has signed a management agreement with Shanghai Duck King Real Estate Development, under which Jin Jiang will provide professional management services to the future Grammy Jin Jiang Hotel, which will be located in Shanghai International Automobile City, Anting Town, Jiading District, Shanghai.

The over 36,000-square meter, 250-room hotel, which is under construction in Duck King Commercial Plaza, Jiading District, is scheduled to open in June 2017.

Duck King Commercial Plaza is located in the center of the Huangdu neighborhood in Anting Town, bordered by North Jiasong Road to the south, Lvyuan Road to the east, a land boundary to the north, and Wutang River to the west. Only 1.5 kilometers from the Jiading Campus of Tongji University, the plaza is a new multi-use complex that provides a venue for four-star hotels, banks, 3D cinemas, restaurants, entertainment venues, wedding photography facilities as well as retail and chain outlets, executive offices and outdoor European bridal services centers.

Mr. Simon Zhang, Chief Executive Officer of Jin Jiang International Hotels said, "Besides representing a successful expansion of the group, the management agreement for Grammy Jin Jiang Hotel is a further testament of Jin Jiang International Hotel's management capabilities and brand excellence. Grammy Jin Jiang Hotel will be the only four-star hotel in Duck King Commercial Plaza and fill the gap in the local high-end hotel market. The hotel is expected to improve the quality of accommodations in the area by offering business travelers a more high-end and comfortable option."

Project owner Shanghai Duck King Real Estate Development is a subsidiary of Duck King Group, a Chinese restaurant brand. Founded in 1989, the group is primarily engaged in dining, food processing, commercial duck farming, taxi operations, vehicle driver training, as well as real estate development and air passenger transport.
